Can I recover the refunds myself?
Yes, but it won't be cost effective. The first step will be to track every package your company ships to determine which packages are late. Then, you'll need to identify packages that are exempted from the guarantee due to carrier exceptions. The next step is to submit your refunds to the carrier. They will try to minimize payment by making it difficult to recover the refunds. Finally, the refunds will show up as credits on your carrier bill. Unless you have spent part of your IT budget on automating this process, you'll see it is not cost effective to manually claim the refunds. Making refund recovery cost effective is Shipper's Advocate's core competency.

How long after a service failure can I claim refunds?
Carriers allow customers to request refunds for 15 days past the scheduled delivery date. If it goes past the 15th day, the guarantee is not honored.

Is there a time commitment?
No. Even though the IT investment Shipper's Advocate makes in customers is substantial, a contract is not required. The value proposition to the customer is so strong that very few customers ever stop using the service. We will retain your business by delivering refund dollars to your bottom line.

What does it cost?
Shipper's Advocate charges a contingency fee of 50% of recovered refunds. There are no other costs of any kind.
